Hygienist

Kay started her dental journey in 1987 at the Birmingham Dental Hospital.

She embarked on her journey as a trainee Dental Surgery Assistant. She qualified in 1989 with both the National Certificate for Dental Surgery Assistants and also hospital qualification in the same field.

On qualifying, she worked as a qualified member of staff before joining the Women’s Royal Naval Service in January 1990.

During her service in the WRNS, she embarked on her training as a Dental Hygienist in 1994 at the RADC in Aldershot. Kay left the WRNS in 1996 after becoming pregnant.

Since leaving the service, she has held various posts in the NHS, Private and hospital settings. Kay has also worked overseas.

She has treated patients from all backgrounds and enjoys the challenge of meeting new people on a daily basis.

Kay was born and bred in the Black Country, and despite travelling with her career, she now lives with her family in Bournville.

Kay has a bubbly personality and can often be heard laughing or singing as she goes about her work.
